The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) is a government-owned institution established in 1977 to promote affordable housing and homeownership.
It manages the National Housing Fund (NHF), providing low-interest mortgage loans to Nigerian workers.
FMBN finances housing projects and partners with developers and cooperatives nationwide.
It supports low- and middle-income earners in owning homes through flexible mortgage plans.
The bank also provides construction finance and mortgage refinancing to developers.
Headquartered in Abuja, FMBN operates under the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
